Considering how this season is going for the Detroit Tigers, baseball fans in the Motor City could certainly use a breath of fresh air and a little positivity. So, as MLB Pipeline released an updated version of their mid-season top 100 prospect rankings, let’s take a look at where the top Tigers prospects landed on the list.
Of course, the biggest name on the list for the Detroit Tigers organization is 2018 first overall pick RHP Casey Mize. Though slowly returning to form after being sidelined by a shoulder injury in late June and early July, Mize still ranks as the number two top prospect in all of baseball, just behind star Tampa Bay prospect SS Wander Franco.
