Ronny Rodriguez was still beaming prior to the Detroit Tigers' home game Friday night against the Chicago White Sox.
The day before, the rookie infielder blasted his first career big-league home run, helping the Tigers beat the White Sox, 7-2, to open their four-game series.
"Oh man, it's something great," Rodriguez said Friday. "Basically, getting my first homer yesterday here at home, that's something I really can't explain."
