DETROIT -- For 17 years, Mario Impemba and Rod Allen have been the primary television broadcast voices of the Detroit Tigers. Now their future together appears in doubt.
Impemba and Allen reportedly got into a physical confrontation Tuesday night after a game in Chicago, prompting FOX Sports Detroit to summon them back to Detroit and send a replacement crew to broadcast Wednesday's game.
After an off-day on Thursday, the Tigers return to the field on Friday night at Comerica Park, but it's unclear who will be doing the broadcast.
Something happened between the pair on Tuesday night, although the extent of it is unclear.
