Day 2 of the 2019 MLB draft is now in the books, and the Detroit Tigers have not been shy about their philosophy this year. Four of their first five picks are big-time power threats, and a few others also have some nice offensive upside. They have only taken two pitchers so far, a huge shift from where we have seen them on draft day in years past.
We already discussed the Tigers’ first two picks, outfielder Riley Greene and third baseman Nick Quintana, but now there are a few more names to add to the list.
