Detroit — Miggy went boom.
Like, really, really big boom.
Miguel Cabrera hit one of the longest home runs in Comerica Park history in the first inning of Monday night's game against the Seattle Mariners. While unconfirmed by the Tigers, it might've been the first ball ever to leave Comerica Park, even on a bounce.

Cabrera destroyed the Nathan Karns pitch, sending the ball and way deep, between the flag pole and the fountain just left of center field.
According to fans, it landed about 30 feet beyond the brick wall, on an employee-only ramp where they store soda.
