Roberto Osuna, the Houston Astros' controversial acquisition, had just hit consecutive batters to push the Red Sox's lead to 4-2, and then surrendered a grand slam to Jackie Bradley Jr. in the eighth inning to all but seal it.
Osuna was booed off the mound in Houston.
Nearly everyone outside the Astros' organization jeered when GM Jeff Luhnow acquired the suspended pitcher in July. When Houston traded for Osuna, he was finishing up a 75-game suspension for violating MLB's domestic violence policy.
