DETROIT -- Mike Fiers was very nearly traded on Tuesday afternoon. Instead, he'll pitch for the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday.
But he might not want to get too comfortable. Even though the non-waiver trade deadline expired in July, trades can still occur in August.
