Toothless Detroit Tigers find their answer at the plate: Gregory Soto

At least one Detroit Tiger is perfectly fine with the team going without a designated hitter in this weekend's games against the New York Mets.

That would be left-handed starting pitcher Gregory Soto, who picked up his first career hit, a single to left, in the second inning off of Mets starter Noah Syndegaard on Friday night. (And yes, they saved the ball for Soto. No Pujols situation here.)
