The Cleveland Guardians roll into Detroit on Tuesday night to kick off a three game series against the Tigers. The Guards currently sit one game behind the Minnesota Twins for first place in the American League Central Division and are a game and a half out of the third and final AL Wild Card spot. With the Seattle Mariners currently occupying that final spot and the surprising Baltimore Orioles only a game behind, exciting baseball games will most definitely be played down the stretch to determine who makes the playoffs. For all his bad ideas, I’ll admit that Commissioner Rob Manfred was right to expand the playoffs.
