MINNEAPOLIS -- The Detroit Tigers appear to have set up their lineup to give Andrew Romine a run at history Saturday night.
The Tigers had been planning to play Romine at all nine positions on Sunday, but with rain in the forecast, they may have decided to move it up a day.
The lineup is built for maximum flexibility, as Dixon Machado can play every infield spot and Nick Castellanos can move from third to the outfield when Romine moves to the infield.
There are two catchers in the lineup --with Bryan Holaday behind the plate and James McCann the DH -- and a third, John Hicks, available off the bench.
