To no surprise, Baseball America has right-handed pitcher Michael Fulmer ranked as the top prospect in the Detroit Tigers' farm system. But to some surprise, outfielder Steven Moya was not included among the team’s top 10 prospects released today.
Fulmer heads the list, followed by righty Beau Burrows -- the team’s first-round draft pick last year -- and outfielder Mike Gerber, whose stock is soaring after a strong performance in the Arizona Fall League.
After the top three are outfielder Christin Stewart, infielder JaCoby Jones, left-hander Kevin Ziomek, righty Joe Jimenez, shortstop Dixon Machado, righty Spencer Turnbull and outfielder Derek Hill.
