The Tigers made a flurry of moves:
u25ba Right-handed pitcher Spencer Turnbull (forearm strain) was transferred to the 60-day injured list after experiencing a setback in his throwing program.
u25ba Left-handed reliever Ian Krol, who pitched for the Tigers in 2014 and 2015 but hadn’t pitched in the big leagues since 2018, had his contract purchased from Triple-A Toledo and was available for duty Wednesday.
u25ba Reliever Bryan Garcia was optioned to Toledo.
u25ba Utility player Niko Goodrum (finger) was activated off the injured list to replace outfielder Daz Cameron, who was placed on the injured list with a right toe sprain.
