CLEVELAND -- Trevor Bauer's mastery of the Detroit Tigers hasn't worn off.
In fact, a handful of his strikeouts on Saturday night featured pitches so potent that it was downright unfair.
Bauer struck out 11 Tigers, leading the Cleveland Indians to a 4-1 victory at Progressive Field.
Bauer has a 1.23 ERA in 29 1/3 innings against the Tigers this year. He's struck out 40 and walked just five.
Bauer has struck out double-digit batters seven times in 2018, second only to Max Scherzer.
The Tigers (36-41) have lost four in a row and will try to avoid a sweep at the hands of the Indians (42-33) in the finale on Sunday.
