Detroit — JaCoby Jones is looking like one of those budding Tigers fan favorites.
Jones has speed, and he can sting the ball, all of which led Wednesday to a walk-off 3-2 victory in 12 innings against the Rays at Comerica Park.
Jones blistered a leadoff triple to left-center in the 12th, then scored on a safety-squeeze bunt from John Hicks as the Tigers won a series from Tampa Bay.
The Tigers got scoreless bullpen work from six relievers, the last of which, Warwick Saupold, got the victory, all after the Rays had taken an early 2-0 lead.
