The Detroit Tigers officially added four players on minor-league deals on Wednesday.

One of them – infielder Ronny Rodriguez – has an opportunity to make the team next spring as a utilityman.

In addition to Rodriguez, who spent last season roadblocked with the Indians at Triple-A Columbus, the Tigers have signed left-hander Will Lamb and outfielders Jason Krizan and Kenny Wilson.

Rodriguez, 25, hit .291 with 17 home runs and 64 RBIs with Columbus last season.
