Parker Meadows showed off why the Tigers took him in the second round of the 2018 draft on Friday night when he hit an inside-the-park home run for the West Michigan Whitecaps.
An inside-the-Parker, if you will.
Meadows opened the season on a cool 1-for-16 clip, but he found his groove and hit 6-for-15 over his next four games.
The Tigers love Meadows because he is fast, tall, athletic and seems to have the perfect baseball disposition.
“For me, I see his ceiling as a high ceiling,” Tigers general manager Al Avila told me earlier this spring.
