Warwick Saupold was roughed up on Wednesday, but Zac Reininger settled things down, and the Mud Hens took a one-run lead into the seventh. Unfortunately, Hunter Cervenka had a tough night in relief, and the Hens couldn’t mount a late rally. Christin Stewart, Dawel Lugo, and Mikie Mahtook powered Toledo’s offense from the heart of the lineup. They combined for five hits, two walks, three runs, and two RBI. Jacob Robson walked and doubled out of the leadoff spot, and continues to hold an .861 OPS with the Mud Hens.
