Matt Hall gave the Hens his best outing of the year, and Daz Cameron responded to a drop in the order with a huge day at the plate. Hall struck out nine over 6 1⁄3 innings of work, allowing two runs on six hits. The Hens got on the board in the second inning when Cameron, batting sixth, mashed a rocket to left field that went for his fourth home run of the year. Three consecutive singles plated another run, and the Hens got on the board again in the fourth. Cameron led off the inning with a double and later came around to score on a Danny Woodrow single.
