Tim Adleman came through with another solid start, while Clippers’ starter Mitch Keller was busy striking out 13 Hens in just five innings of work. Adleman went five as well, blanking the Clippers on four hits and two walks, with five strikeouts.
The game was scoreless until the seventh, when Dustin Peterson scored on a Jacob Robson sacrifice fly. The Clippers came right back to tie things up again in the top of the eighth, but the Hens weren’t done. Daniel Pinero led off the inning with a walk and went to second on a Willi Castro single.
