Starter Beau Burrows is making a heck of an impression through two games at the Triple-A level. On Thursday he tossed 6 1⁄3 innings of three-hit ball, once again allowing no runs. He punched out five along the way. The Hens scored two in the first and took a 3-0 lead into the ninth inning. Unfortunately Zac Houston blew the save, allowing three runs in a messy outing to send this to extra innings.
Fortunately, the Hens quickly bounced back. Shortstop Willi Castro singled home Jacob Robson from second in the top of the 10th inning, and Victor Reyes followed with his second RBI single of the contest to give Toledo a two-run cushion.
