We’ve reached the All-Star break for both the International League and the Eastern League, so both the Mud Hens and SeaWolves are off until Thursday. The Eastern League All-Star Game isscheduled for Tuesday, July 10, while the International League will play their mid-season classic on Wednesday, July 11.
Spenser Watkins was excellent again on Monday, and the Flygers scored three in the eighth inning to break a 1-1 tie and win it. Watkins went six innings, allowing an unearned run on four hits, with five strikeouts. Burris Warner and Eduardo Jimenez locked it down the rest of the way, with Jimenez picking up the save, his 13th of the season.
