The Mud Hens shook off a 16-3 beating on Saturday to avoid the sweep in impressive fashion. Mikie Mahtook led the way with a pair of home runs and four runs drive in, while Harold Castro added three RBI of his own. Victor Reyes, Josh Lester, and Willi Castro also drove in a pair of runs apiece. On the pitching side, Ryan Carpenter worked seven scoreless innings while allowing just four hits and a walk.
