The Indians scored eight runs in the top of the seventh inning, stretching a slim 2-0 lead into an insurmountable 10-run margin. Starter Thad Weber was solid through his first six innings, but all four of the batters he faced in the seventh scored to sully his final line. Relievers Ruben Alaniz and Drake Britton also allowed runs in the inning. The Mud Hens offense tallied nine hits but went 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position. John Hicks and Dixon Machado both had multi-hit games for Toledo.
