Tigers prospect Bryan Garcia will be paying a visit to Dr. James Andrews to investigate recurring elbow pain, per reports. Should Dr. Andrews, who is one of the foremost experts in elbow injuries, see a serious problem it is likely Garcia will undergo Tommy John surgery. If that is the case, he will miss the entire 2018 season.
Garcia was seeing a tremendous rise through the minor league ranks, spending time last season everywhere from the Single-A West Michigan White Caps all the way up to the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens.
