Faedo, the No. 18 overall pick by the Detroit Tigers in the 2017 MLB draft, combined with reliever Drew Carlton to throw a no-hitter for the Double-A Erie SeaWolves in a 4-0 win over Bowie at UPMC Park in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Faedo, 23, threw seven innings, walking one and striking out five against the Baltimore Orioles affiliate. He threw 58 of his 90 pitches for strikes and allowed three baserunners.
"It was a great game and a really special moment for the whole team," Faedo said, according to GoErie.com. "I’m proud of Drew for coming in and getting the last six outs.
