Tigers pounce on Halos' bullpen after rain delay

DETROIT -- The Tigers and Mike Fiers dueled Angels rookie sensation Shohei Ohtani to a no-decision through five innings before Jose Iglesias' go-ahead two-run single fueled a five-run sixth, sending Detroit to a 6-1 win Wednesday night at Comerica Park.

The Tigers managed a run on three hits against Ohtani, including a Niko Goodrum first-inning RBI single and a pair of Nicholas Castellanos doubles. Ohtani hit 101.1 mph against Jeimer Candelario to strand two runners in the fifth inning, but couldn't outlast the second rain delay of the night.
