DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers are adding two new pitchers from Triple-A Toledo.
Left-hander Matt Hall and right-hander Spencer Turnbull arrived at Comerica Park on Monday and will officially join the roster on Tuesday.
The Tigers will have to make a corresponding move to add Hall to the 40-man roster.
One of the new pitchers will join the starting rotation and the other will go to the bullpen, although manager Ron Gardenhire said he wouldn't talk about their roles until they were officially activated.
Turnbull, 25, was a second-round pick out of the University of Alabama in 2014.
