Alex Faedo, the Tigers' first-round draft pick, allowed two runs on two hits in five innings Friday night for Class A (Advanced) Lakeland. He struck out four without walking a batter.
In Double-A Erie, Sandy Baez pitched 4 2/3 scoreless innings Friday night, striking out 10 and allowing just one walk and three hits.
One night earlier, Beau Burrows tossed five scoreless innings for the Seawolves, allowing just a hit and two walks while striking out six.
