Tigers pitching Chris Bosio will miss another game Wednesday

CLEVELAND -- Detroit Tigers pitching coach Chris Bosio will miss a second game Wednesday with an illness.

Tigers manager Ron Gardenhire said Bosio started feeling unwell on Monday night but stayed through the game. On Tuesday, he underwent unspecified tests. Gardenhire declined to share further details and said the situation was unchanged on Wednesday.

Tigers bullpen coach Rick Anderson is serving as pitching coach. Tigers roving minor-league instructor A.J. Sager, who lives in Toledo, drove over to Cleveland and is serving as bullpen coach.

Gardenhire said Bosio was still in Cleveland and had not returned to Detroit.
