DETROIT -- Don't you just love early-spring baseball?
The Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Pirates were rained out again on Saturday, two days after bad weather nixed Opening Day.
The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Sunday. The first game will be at 1:10 p.m. Game 2 starts at 6:10 p.m.
All paid tickets for Saturday's game are valid for the second game on Sunday.
The skies were sunny and clear early Saturday, but clouds moved in and wind and rain was expected by early afternoon.
Both teams were likely hesitant to begin the game and burn their starting pitcher, especially after Friday's game went 13 innings.
