CLEVELAND -- Same result, same redundant answers.
No matter what they do, who they send to the mound, how they play, the Detroit Tigers cannot beat the Cleveland Indians.
Tuesday night marked the Tigers' 11th straight loss to the Indians, a 12-1 drubbing at Progressive Field that left manager Brad Ausmus repeating himself to reporters.
"I don't think you could have predicted it," Ausmus said. "I don't know what to say other than they whooped our butts tonight."
Behind another strong outing from Carlos Carrasco, the Tigers mustered just four hits total and advanced one runner past third as the Indians jumped on Detroit pitching again early and sailed to victory.
