DETROIT -- Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera will begin serving a six-game suspension Saturday for his role in sparking a massive brawl eight days against the New York Yankees.
Cabrera's suspension was reduced from seven games after an appeal.
Additionally, Tigers manager Brad Ausmus (one game) and reliever Alex Wilson (three games) will also begin their suspensions on Saturday.
Wilson's suspension was reduced from four games after his appeal.
