DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers haven't yet announced whether Michael Fulmer will come off the disabled list and start on Friday night.
But one thing is clear: He really, really wants to pitch.
The Tigers right-hander, on the disabled list since July 20 with a strained left oblique, was positively giddy after his bullpen session on Tuesday afternoon at Comerica Park.
He was equally happy with the two rehab appearances at Class A (Advanced) Lakeland in which he struck out 11 batters and allowed just one hit through six shutout innings.
"I was so stoked with the starts and my bullpen today was probably the best one I've thrown all year," Fulmer said.
