DETROIT -- Mike Aviles will make his third straight start in right field Wednesday after a late-hour scratch to the Detroit Tigers lineup.
Tyler Collins will sit out the Tigers' series finale against the Minnesota Twins (1:10 p.m., FSD) after complaining pregame of neck spasms, the team announced.
Aviles started the last two games in right but went 1 for 6 with a pair of strikeouts.
Collins was 3-for-6 in his career against Twins starter Ervin Santana (3-8, 4.12 ERA).
Andrew Romine, meanwhile, will get the start at shortstop for Jose Iglesias. Romine hasn't had an at-bat in the last six games.
