DETROIT -- Detroit Tigers starter Jordan Zimmermann will miss at least one start after experiencing neck pain in two recent outings.
The issue is similar to the one that plagued him late last year, Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said.
"The pain in his neck has returned in the last two starts and started to radiate down his right trap (trapezius muscle)," Ausmus said. "He's going to see the same doctor he saw this winter down in Texas."
Zimmermann last winter and could receive one again.
"This is the first time that it's really returned to what it was before he received the injection in end of November, early December," Aumsus said.
