CHICAGO -- Jim Adduci grew up 20 miles from here. He spent six years playing for the Chicago Cubs organization. He's played 15 seasons in professional baseball.
And on Tuesday, for the first time in his career, he'll play a game at Wrigley Field.
"I told my wife to come today just to see why I caused her so much sacrifice," Adduci said. "Thankfully she's let me keep doing this. I'm pretty pumped to be able to play at Wrigley. I think it's special for us. I've always wanted to play here and today I get an opportunity to do it.
