LAKELAND, Fla. – Detroit Tigers catcher James McCann may have found something the other day that helps right-handed reliever Mark Lowe turn the corner after an abysmal 2016.
Lowe allowed one hit in a scoreless inning of work in today's 4-3 win over the New York Mets at Joker Marchant Stadium.
“Me and Mac looked at some stuff the other day, going back to 2015 when things were going good,” Lowe said. “Saw something really small, but small things go a long way.”
Lowe said it was just a matter of getting his hand out of his glove sooner.
