CHICAGO -- The Detroit Tigers return to Guaranteed Rate Field on Saturday afternoon following a scheduled off day that they didn't really want or need.
There have been enough of them early in the season.
But the intervening 24 hours have done little to change the weather. It will be sunny and dry but just above the freezing mark when the Tigers play the second game of their three-game series against the Chicago White Sox at 1:10 p.m.
One reason the Tigers might have been eager to play again on Friday is the good vibes emanating from Thursday's win.
