Tigers get 'primo competitor' Logan Shore to complete Mike Fiers trade

The Mike Fiers trade is complete.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Detroit Tigers received right-hander Logan Shore from the Athletics as the second player to be named later in their Aug. 6 trade.

Shore, the A’s second round pick in the 2016 draft, joins righty reliever Nolan Blackwood to complete the deal.

In three seasons, Shore has posted a 3.92 ERA and 1.28 WHIP with 182 strikeouts in 192 2/3 innings.
