LAKELAND, Fla. -- The fraternity of bushy-faced Detroit Tigers has one fewer member after left-handed pitcher Daniel Norris took a razor to his beard this week.
In Tuesday's workout at the team's Tiger Town practice facility, Norris looked like he wandered in from the wilderness. A day later, for the first official practice under new manager Ron Gardenhire, he was clean-shaven. (Although some noted that a five o'clock shadow had started to grow almost immediately).
Fellow pitchers Michael Fulmer and Buck Farmer are still sporting bushy beards, as is the team's other "D-No" -- catcher Derek Norris.
