After wrapping up a successful stint in the Dominican Republic, Detroit Tigers left-handed pitcher Daniel Norris is going to Japan.
Norris will be the Tigers' lone representative on MLB's barnstorming squad that will tour Japan in November.
The full roster provided by MLB is listed below.
Don Mattingly will manage the club, assisted by Edgar Martinez, Hideki Matsui, Fredi Gonzalez and Hensley Meulens.
Norris posted a 1.84 ERA in 14 2/3 innings while pitching for the Aguilas Cibaenas in the Dominican Republic. He walked four and struck out 12.
Norris is using the winter ball outings to bolster his workload after he threw just 44 innings in an injury-shortened 2018 season.
