Tigers’ Daniel Norris looks strong in rehab start for Mud Hens

Daniel Norris pitched four strong innings in a rehab assignment for the Mud Hens, and their bullpen held off a late Red Sox rally for a 7-5 win. Norris, making his first appearance at any level since straining an oblique on July 4, allowed a run on five hits and struck out four. He left after throwing 67 pitches. The Mud Hens’ offense was led by Dean Green, who had three hits (including a two-run homer) and three RBI. Casey McGehee added a pair of RBI, and Steven Moya had a two-hit game.
