Starter Myles Jaye dug the Detroit Tigers into a hole Saturday night at Comerica Park.
And his teammates didn't have enough offense to help the right-handed pitcher get out of it in just his second major-league start. The Chicago White Sox topped the Tigers, 10-4, as Jaye gave up six runs in just 1 2/3 innings.
"Right now, quite frankly, he hasn't pitched too much," Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said. "He's got a good breaking ball at times, and he gets swings and misses. He can pitch up and down with fastballs, and he's got a finish in him with crossfires.
