Baltimore – And for the daily Tigers roster move:
The club purchased the contract of right-handed pitcher Warwick Saupold from Triple A Toledo and sent lefty Daniel Norris back to the Mud Hens.
It’s the third day in a row the Tigers have shuffled players to and from Toledo. Norris came on Wednesday and Tyler Collins went back. Steven Moya came yesterday and Blaine Hardy went back.
Now it’s the 26-year-old Australian Saupold getting the call to provide a fresh arm for a struggling Tigers bullpen.
Saupold, who is from Perth in Western Australia, has been a steady performer for the Mud Hens.
