Tigers' Cabrera leaves game in third inning with arm injury

Detroit — Miguel Cabrera took a mighty swing at an off-speed pitch from Twins starter Jake Odorizzi in the bottom of the third inning.

Cabrera missed the ball, immediately grabbed his left arm and walked to the Tigers’ dugout before trainer Doug Teter could even get to the top step.

It appeared that Cabrera reinjured the left biceps muscle. He sustained what was called a biceps spasm back on April 29 and missed three games. He came back for one start and then went on the disabled list for a month with a hamstring strain.
