The Detroit Tigers have decided not to raid Toledo's roster while the Mud Hens are still in the playoff hunt.
The Tigers recalled right-handed pitcher Sandy Baez from Class AA Erie on Saturday, the first day on which rosters were expanded from 25 to 40 players.
However, the Tigers chose not to add any players from Triple-A Toledo. The International League regular season ends on Monday and the Mud Hens are only 1/2 game out of first place.
That means players like outfield prospect Christin Stewart will have to wait until the Mud Hens are eliminated before getting a call to Detroit.
