DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers signed infielder Omar Infante to a minor-league contract and invited him to spring training, where he will try to make the Tigers big-league team for the third separate time in his career.
Infante, who turns 35 this month, played for the Tigers from 2002-2007 and again in 2012-2013.
