DETROIT -- The Tigers confirmed the signings of six minor-league players on Tuesday, including some that had been previously reported.
Infielder Pete Kozma and catcher Brayan Pena were the only two players among the six to be invited to spring training.
The Tigers also signed right-handed pitchers Phillippe Aumont and Orbandy Rodriguez; left-handed pitcher Liarvis Breto; and outfielder Herlis Rodriguez.
Aumont and Breto both pitched in the Canadian-American Association, an independent league, in 2017.
Aumont, 29, was a first-round pick of the Seattle Mariners out of Gatineau, Quebec, in 2007. He pitched in parts of four seasons at the big-league level for the Philadelphia Phillies.
