As if forcing us to pay for Apple TV+ wasn’t enough, we didn’t get to listen to Jason Benetti’s and Andy Dirks’ familiar banter for a game starting at 8:10pm. For a fellow Midwest opponent, that’s fairly late. Fortunately, it was all worthwhile as the Tigers fought back from an early deficit to win 7-6 and run their record to 8-5 on the young season.
The game featured a matchup between Reese Olson and David Festa, just called up for an injured Pablo Lopez, faced off tonight. The key to watch was how well Olson dialed into the zone after some atypical wildness early in 2025.
