The Detroit Tigers' season will begin with a night game for the first time since 2009.
The 2016 season opener is slated to start at 7:10 p.m. against the Miami Marlins at Marlins Park, according to the full list of 2016 start times unveiled by the team and MLB today.
The second game in the 2-game series will begin at 4:55 p.m., then the Tigers host the New York Yankees in their home opener at 1:08 p.m. April 8 at Comerica Park.
The Tigers had already unveiled start times for all home games in September, when the 2016 schedule was first unveiled.
